We had a blast! Yesterday we took a road trip to Fayetteville to see Abbie. She had a huge party to celebrate her turning 13. It was a Luau theme...so we all wore the Lei's around our necks, and some of us wore them around our ankles too.
We had four hours of fun watching everyone interact with each other and enjoy great food.
Abbie's cousin Adam who is a Fire Fighter, even agreed (after a few drinks) to put on a grass skirt and a coconut bra! It was a hoot!!!
Abbie will officially turn 13 on August the 29th.
We had such a great time...it was really hard to leave her.
