We are home! Alexa had her regional dance competition in Asheville on Saturday morning. We spent a night in a hotel and none of us slept very well. All 4 of us slept in a King size bed together, and both girls tossed and turned, giggled and argued. So...it was a restless night.
Anyway, Alexa's dance team received 3rd place for their jazz routine. An hour later, the girls danced their tap routine...and they received a Platinum First Place finish, and 3rd overall!!!
Way to go girls! We were all thrilled to hear the girls finally got Platinum. They worked hard and they deserved it! So, they will learn a new jazz routine this month at dance class, so they can perform a jazz production in the recital coming up in June, along with their prior two competition routines.
Nationals will be at Myrtle Beach in July at the Palace Theatre...how exciting!
