I hate to post this...but Ava broke her right humerus up near where it meets her shoulder bone.
Sad, I know! She was climbing, and had her Tinkertoys constructed in such a way that she tried to touch the ceiling with them...resulting in her falling hard onto the parquet floor.
Ouch!!! You should have heard the THUD!
So, she is in a sling and a velcro wrap to immobilize her right arm for four l-o-n-g weeks!
Here she is at the Orthopaedic Dr. this afternoon.
Her expression is priceless!
She will miss TK Preschool and Dance for the duration of her healing, since I don't want her to get hurt and/or fall on that arm again.
Get better my sweet girl!!!
